Putting together a good exhibition can be good fun and rewarding - it takes a lot of thought and, depending on what you want to achieve, can look very different. PHC are delivering workshops on 'How to Curate an Exhibition' for the British Library and Library of Birmingham, as part of 'Connecting Stories'
We have two very different 'Cultural' exhibitions on in Brum at the moment - Wholesale Memory and Connecting Stories. PHC are running workshops looking at these two exhibitions in particular, and more generally how exhibitions work - that's why two of the workshops are at the Exhibitions at the Library of Birmingham (3rd November 2017) and Wholesale Memory Hub (19th October).
We've prepared online resources to accompany the workshop and for others to freely access:
How to Curate an Exhibition
Workshops are supported by Library of Birmingham, British Library, Friction Arts, Springfield Project, BCC Wellbeing Team and funded by Heritage Lottery fund.
